The primary objective of Heartbeat Health is to provide accessible and timely cardiovascular care. The platform utilizes a proactive and agile approach, offering instant support through collaborations with smart device companies. This enables consumers to access fitness and medical reports through smart devices like smart scales, smartwatches, and similar health and fitness devices.

Seamless communication is crucial for digital care. The platform must handle chats, emails, video calls, device agnostics, and other communications.

Easy Access

Patients must be able to access their vitals and medical reports anywhere, anytime. Integrating device agnostics on smart gadgets was essential.

Data Accuracy

Heartbeat partnered with FDA-approved hybrid smartwatches to ensure accurate readings and better interpretations. Strict HIPAA compliance ensures the credibility of the information.

Implemented Solution

Safety and Privacy

Implementing Micro Frontend (React) and microservices on the backend increased system performance, scalability, and streamlined operations.

Quick and Reliable Communication

Heartbeat relies on third-party APIs for stable communication. WebSocket filters excess network traffic, ensuring quick and stable connections. Email integration is facilitated through MailChimp.

Rich User Experience

A rich user interface was developed using HTML5, jQuery, Bootstrap, and Less. The context menu feature enables convenient navigation and exploration. Heartbeat is set up and maintained on Heroku servers for enhanced performance.

Results

Heartbeat Health’s Virtual-First Cardiology model has demonstrated its effectiveness in three case studies. The platform has significantly improved the accessibility and quality of care for patients. Key results include:
